The Brooklyn-Born filmmaker began his journey in cinema as a production assistant for 40 Acres and a Mule Film Works co-founder Monty Ross; shortly thereafter he began working on his student film “For The Good Times”. This cool piece introduces Chris Eric Williams (Streets is Watching) as a guy in search of red-light bump and grind parties, hot and steamy sex with beautiful women, and drugs to alleviate distress. This film was distributed domestically through Urban Entertainment and was licensed to BET.
While co-producing the Monty Ross directed documentary Morehouse 20 Years Later, he managed to write a gritty urban-drama newly titled Deceptz formerly The Eddie Black Story about a Brooklyn street gang starring Fredro Starr and Chyna Layne. In addition, he wrote an interesting docu-drama featuring Kellita Smith (The Bernie Mac Show) and Al Thompson (Love Don’t Cost A Thing) entitled Conspiracy X, which reveals an in-depth examination of the judicial system incited by capital gain, empowerment and the New World Order.
Currently, Mr. Baker released the highly anticipated NETFLIX released feature SUPERMODEL, produced by Datari Turner, a drama that captures the journey of a young woman’s rise to stardom in the high fashion world. It stars supermodel Sessilee Lopez, Roger Guenveur Smith, Tyson Bedford, Marc John Jeffries, Cassandra Freeman, Fat Joe, Nichole Galicia, Tatyana Ali, Julito McCullum, Datari Turner and Angela Simmons.

Was 1/3 of the Hip Hop group Onyx, the group debuted in 1993, Onyx won Soul Train’s 1993 Best Rap Album of the year over Dr. Dre’s The Chronic. Fredro has offically retired from rap. He is now only concentrating on his budding acting career which spans a total of 10 years. His last 2 solo albums were received with little or any good reviews. Was discovered by Run DMC and the late Jam Master Jay back in 1989.

Jen Emma Hertel is ana actor, producer who has produced and appeared in stage, theater and screen projects nationally. Her latest producing ventures have been The Grind currently streaming on Amazon Prime and The Russian Room based on a Russian family that stated the Russian Turkish baths in New York. Jen is also a playwright having work performed off-broadway.
Writer/Director
Brendan is a New York City based writer/director and member of both the Dramatists Guild and Writers Guild East (WGAE). Brendan has directed feature film, Television, Music Video and branded content for major advertising agencies. Having a vast production background in a variety of skill sets allows Brendan to maximize resources and provide the best solution for a given project. Brendan is particularly interested in unique branded opportunities and film and TV.
Digital Seven and Lock City Filmworks are two New York City based production companies. Digital Seven with offices in Greenpoint Brooklyn, and Lock City in Manhattan. Digital Seven completed two TV pilots ‘The Grind’ and The ‘Russian Room’ and is actively working on new and original content.
Lock City Filmworks has a slate of several projects geared for worldwide distribution and is partnering with Digital Seven on the production of the Onyx Story. We are excited to build this creative project collectively and look forward to the development roster ahead.
